Lemon Chicken Salad RM 16

Mixed fresh raw lettuce tossed in a lemon vinaigrette with slices of chicken breast, match with a light sauce on top.
*All the lettuce is imported instead of the local ones and come in purplish and greens.

Usually Nachos is ordered to serve with beer, but this Nachos are different with others, it's contains tortilla chips with pork / chicken, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese.

Interlude's Crispy Pork Fried Rice RM 18

"When I was young, one of my favorite food is fried rice, but I can tell you this is not a normal fried rice. This serves with deep fried Siew Yoke (roasted pork in Cantonese), and it tastes yummy!"

Nantua of Spaghetti with Seasonal Seafood RM 30

Nantua is actually made from bisque and Napoli sauce. Bisque based sauce is cooked using lobster/ prawn shells and the second option is chosen by Interlude to keep the price reasonable. We rarely see Nantua on restaurant menus because it takes 6 hours of preparation. Bisque is made before it is mixed with Napoli sauce, and added cream. The seafood-2 pieces of mussels, calamari, and prawns are then grilled separately.

Crispy Pork Belly RM 24

The Crispy Pork Belly is marinated with five spices, then the flesh is baked for the first time to cook it.  After it is cooled down the next day, it is then put back into the oven to make the skin crispy. There is something with high, medium of fat, we need something with high level of acidity and vinegar to help the person appreciate the fat with some pickled cabbage. The Kilkenny glaze is drizzled slightly on top to add sweetness to the overall taste.

17 Hours Slow Cooked Pork Belly RM 26
*This a Best Seller as I highlighted above!!!

By its name, you would start wondering, 17 hours? Yes, this dish take 17-19 hours to prepare.

The chef heedful prepare this dish, with steps below:

  1. He must maintain low temperature for long period before they cook the pork.
  2. Then remove the flab; we known as "skin".
  3. There is a thin layer of fat between the meat, and skin, also known as flab/fat.
  4. The sugar protein would then be caramelised using high heat with heavy based pan; what we do for steak. The process of caramelisation is called maillard reaction.
  5. After 17 hours, the pork is pressed to become a perfect square shape.

For the topping of the pork:
There is a greenish sauce. The savoury sauce is made from Gribiche inspired sauce with chicken stock, cream, tarragon, and parsley.

Pulled Pork Burger RM 26

It's braised pork shoulder then flaked, but it's still juciy; they still retained some moisture in it. It is heated on pan with Guiness Babi Sauce.

Cheese Cake RM 22

*The cheese cakes are all made in house. due to weekly specials, we have to enquirer to know what is the cake menu of the week.

"According to Chef Rabin, there are two types of cheese cakes, one is set by gelatine whereas the other is baked and he only sells baked cheese cakes for now. The one we tried had cream cheese, grated dark chocolate, biscuit and berry puree." by Catherine ~

They have offered Nutella, white chocolate, Ferrero Rocher, and Oreo cheese cake (featured on the menu). Some customers have tried their Nutella cheese cake and proceeded to order for their own events. The Nutella cheese cake is so decadent till one needs to prepare a glass of water to take this. 2 bottles of Nutella is needed to make a 2 kg cake that costs about RM250 for special orders.

Ice cream with Mediterranean flavours such as dates and pomegranate molasses (reduction), custard, ice-cream, and biscuits.

  3. The pork belly looks super yummy weiii!! Is the portion big or small, can't really tell from you pic >< Need to check out this cafe when I'm in TTDI.

  4. I have tried it once and the food is good. Will come back to Interlude

  5. the pork belly is like WOW~ i really want to try that

  6. Good looks good but it's kinda pricey to have rm20+ per dish unless you are splurging for special occasions
